In the Footsteps of David Livingstone: June 2019
(continued)
Two male giraffes compete for dominance by steadying their legs and swinging their necks to deliver sledgehammer blows to each other.
June 16th:
the morning is occupied with a 2-hour visit to a village on Impalila Island at the eastern tip of Namibia.
The island is bounded on the north by the Zambezi River but we approach from the south across the Chobe River. After completing
two sets of Immigration procedures, we have a short walk to the village.
Examples of the village's architecture.
