Another oceanside walk - this time from Puerto Calero to Puerto del Carmen

Puerto del Carmen, where after a lunch of mixed tapas at The Sunset Grill,

we return to Puerto Calero on the Water Bus

After three days confined to our hotel due to 'Calima' - the worst sandstorm that The Canaries have suffered for twenty years, we pack our sand- covered hire car to return it to the airport. Due to the sandstorm our flight has been postponed by 24-hours, and Jet2 have arranged to take us to another hotel for the night

Our final (and extra) night is spent at The Secrets Hotel in Puerto Calero - next door to where we have been staying for the last twelve nights.

This is a very glamorous hotel, but the room and food compare poorly with the Costa Calero
