An historic streetcar transported us from Ybor City to downtown Tampa.
In downtown Tampa, we follow the River Walk alongside the Hillsborough River as far as the Ulele Restaurant near the Water Works Park,
enjoying the perfect weather and the many interesting sights along the way.
Henry Bradley Plant (1819 – 1899), founder of the Plant System of railroads and
steamship lines is one many individuals commemorated
by
monuments on Tampa's River Walk.
The Henry B. Plant Museum is housed in the 1891 Tampa Bay Hotel.
