For our eighth stay at the Hotel Costa Calero in Puerto Calero we again travel with Jet2 Holidays. Our holiday in Lanzarote is from January 11th to January 25th for which we have hired a Mazda 2 Hybrid car from Auroreisen

We again have Suite 544 with views to the sea across the hotel's pools,

but little progress has been made in the nearby construction of a shopping centre

As usual, the hotel provides us with excellent food (left) and some lovely sunsets

After an initial exploration of Puerto Calero including a walk beside the coast (right) we spend many mornings walking along our favourite promenades at various resorts on the island
