After our exhilarating walk alongside the Falls we are able to return to the bus by ascending in a lift. All of the group reach the bus by 5:15pm and we are then driven some distance to our hotel: the Recanto Cataras. Our room (2625 - right) is very large and is located in a high-rise block that is in a newer part of the hotel. This building is joined to the original part of the hotel, where the restaurant is located, by a long passage. In the huge dining room (below right) we get an excellent meal from a buffet that provides plenty of choice. We particularly enjoy the salads, steaks, and desserts.

 

 

 

 

Breakfast is provided by means of another very large buffet, but this morning the location is in our part of the hotel. Departure by bus is at 9am, and we are transported to the border with Argentina, and  then on to the Argentinean side of the Falls

After exploring the Visitor Centre (right), we travel by train to the Falls
