After thoroughly exploring Archanes, we return to the coffee shop.where we have crepes (J: cheese; D: chocolate).

 

As we have our meal, we find it amusing to watch the ladies deal with the men that frequent the cafe - a group of what appear to be farmers spend a lot of time here. When we depart, they give us a cheery wave.

 

Our next objective is to locate the Minoan Cemetery. The staff in the Archeological Museum have advised us that we need to go to Kato Archanes, which is a short distance to the north. Parking there, we ask again and are advised to drive up a very steep, narrow road. Signs for the cemetery indicate we are driving in the right direction.
