After visiting the Castillo de San Marcos,
we have our evening meal at the Columbian Restaurant in Saint Augustine.
Next
day, we drive north to Magnolia Plantation near Charleston -
where it is not only raining, but the temperature is 30F lower
In addition to extensive grounds and an antebellum mansion,
Magnolia Plantation has the remnants of its former slave dwellings
We have better weather the next day as we explore Charleston's wonderful architecture:
Florida, Charleston, and Savannah
