Our day exploring Charleston ends with a meal at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company:
Fort Sumter (where the American Civil War began) is located in Charleston Harbour.
It is reached by boat from Patriots Point where
the USS Yorktown is moored.
Patriots Point is linked to Charleston by the spectacular Arthur Ravenel Bridge
River Street, Savannah's famous (but rather seedy) thoroughfare near the Savannah River
