The magnificent gardens of the Victoria Falls Hotel overlook the bridge that links

 Zimbabwe and Zambia, that was built in the same year as the hotel.

The Victoria Falls station is adjacent to the hotel, and is at an elevation of 2,990-feet.

Near to the railway station, a print recalls when Sir Henry Morton Stanley found Livingstone.

On an optional excursion by helicopter, we fly at about 1,500-feet over the Victoria Falls.

Returning to the hotel from our helicopter flight, we visit the site of "The Big Tree", (a Baobab) which is estimated to have an age of between 1,000 and 1,500 years.

 

We then depart on another optional excursion - Safari Number 2 is a Game Drive  through the 2,500-hectare Nakavango Private Game Reserve. Although we fail to find any of  the Reserve's Black Rhinoceros, we see plenty of Eland;  Impala; Giraffes; Elephants; and Zebra.
