Warning signs in the grounds of Chobe Safari Lodge.
June 12th: an early morning start (6am) for Safari Number 3 - a Game Drive in Chobe National Park. The scheduled 3-hour drive
overruns and we get back to the hotel at 9:30am. It is amazingly cold at the commencement of the drive.
Our guide (Barra) shows us the composition of Elephant droppings - choosing one of the numerous examples that litter the park. His
tour takes us alongside the Chobe River and into the bush. We see plenty of wildlife including Water Buffalo; Hippos; Guineafowl;
Tree Squirrels; Lilac-breasted Roller; Elephants; Giraffes.
