The Elefantentor" (Elephant Gate) is a distinctive and impressive entrance to the Berlin Zoo, featuring two life-sized sandstone
elephant sculptures flanking a pagoda-style roof.
A sculpture ("Broken Chain") that symbolised the severed connections between West and East Berlin due to the construction
of the Berlin Wall.
The most famous church tower in Berlin is the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, also known as the "Hollow Tooth". This is due to the
fact that only the heavily damaged west tower of the original church remains, serving as a memorial to the war and destruction.
Arc de 124.5° - a monumental steel sculpture that was a gift from France to Berlin on the occasion of the city's 750th anniversary
in 1987.

On its route through Berlin, the river Spree passes Berlin Cathedral, the Reichstag and the Schloss Charlottenburg. The renownedMuseum Island, with its collection of five major museums, is an island in the Spree.
